Sale of KXLY-TV and KXLY-FM and AM for $3,250,000 to a Superior, Wis., concern was announced Monday by James R. Agostino, general manager of the Spokane stations.

The sale, by Joseph Harris and Norman Alexander of New York, is subject to Federal Communications Commission confirmation. The Evening Telegram Co. and its associated radio and newspaper companies are the buyers.

KXLY-TV began operating as a Columbia Broadcasting System affiliate in 1953. No changes in management or personnel are anticipated.

The Telegram Co., headed by Morgan Murphy, has newspaper and radio interests in Wisconsin, Michigan and Louisiana. The new owners reportedly paid $2.6 Million for the television station and $650,000 for the radio outlet.
