The Spokesman-Review

Television Spokane, Inc., a $50,000 corporation, Tuesday filed articles of incorporation with Secretary of State Earl Coe.

The corporation listed as the board of directors Burl Hagadone of radio stations KNEW, Spokane, and KVNI, Coeur d’Alene, Idaho; J.G. Scripps and Harry Henke Jr., both of Seattle, the Associated Press reported.

Hagadone said the company soon will file an application with the Federal Communications Commission at Washington, D.C. for permission to establish a television station at Spokane.

He said if the FCC grants permission the company will “endeavor to bring outstanding television programs to the residents of the Inland Empire.”
