Spokane’s new radio station, KREM, with studios in the Realty Building, starts operations tomorrow, Cole E. Wylie, owner and former Wenatchee resident, said today.

The station will broadcast at 1340 kilocycles with 250 watts power.

“Weekday broadcasts will be from 7 a.m. until midnight, with a Sunday schedule from 8 a.m. to midnight,” Wylie said. “Tomorrow for our opening day, we will broadcast from 7 p.m. until 3 a.m. Sunday.”

KREM’s program, he said, will emphasize music, sports and local civic events.
